Laura founded Origin Insurance Agency in 2015 with a mission to support business and nonprofit leaders in navigating one of their biggest budget items—employee benefits. Since entering the insurance industry in 2009, she has built a reputation for clarity, communication, and a high-touch, client-first approach. In recent years, Laura expanded her expertise into the field of Human Resources, earning her SHRM certification in 2024 and collaborating with a network of HR professionals to offer broader people operations support. A fifth-generation Texan, Laura grew up in Houston and has lived in the Austin area for over 20 years. When she’s not meeting with clients, she enjoys spending time outdoors and road tripping with her husband and their two fast-growing teenagers.

Christian joined Origin Insurance Agency in 2020 after initially pursuing a career in financial planning. He brings energy, curiosity, and a passion for learning to the team, helping new clients design and implement benefit strategies that meet both organizational and employee needs. He is especially focused on educating employees and providing ongoing support throughout the benefits life cycle. After growing up in the Midwest and growing tired of the cold winters, he moved to Austin to study Finance and St. Edward’s University. Outside of work, Christian plays drums in a rock band, enjoys cooking, and always finds new ways to keep the creativity flowing.

With over 23 years of experience in employee benefits, Linda is known for her strategic approach to designing and managing competitive, compliant, and cost-effective benefit programs. She works closely with employers and carriers to align plans with both business goals and employee needs, ensuring clients feel supported throughout the year. Linda’s expertise spans health, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement plans, and she’s well-versed in regulatory compliance and industry trends. Clients value Linda’s clear communication, attention to detail, and steady support during times of growth and change. Outside of work, she enjoys baking desserts, reading fiction, and traveling—especially returning to Germany, where she spent her childhood.
